4/91, Sandpoint, ID.
During spring rain storm, main road to Schweitzer Basin Ski area
washed out, and damaged the City of Sandpoint's water system.
Claim was filed against WWP for $500,000, due to recent installation
of gas main to the ski resort. No settlement was made by WWP,
as its work did not cause the road wash out and flood. |
12/90, Spokane, WA.
During gas line installation, city water main was hit, and flooded
numerous residents. Suit was filed by one property owner for
$200,000, against three defendants. WWP paid a nominal amount
to be dismissed from the suit. |
9/92, Spokane, WA.
During a major WWP gas main installation project, welding caused
a wild land fire, which damaged numerous property owners, and
seriously injured one TV camera man. Suit was filed by several
parties against two defendants. WWP was dismissed from all suits
without any payments made. |
